Dr. Dooley initially entered into Emergency Medicine in the early 1980s in Utah and became board-qualified during that period. He then opened two urgent care centers, one in Park City, Utah, and the other in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. During that time he founded Marine Medical, a company dedicated to designing, manufacturing and equipping mega-yachts with sophisticated medical kits. Crewmembers received training in a specialized advanced emergency response course developed by Dr. Dooley. Hundreds of individuals in the boat industry received the certification of “Marine Medic.”
Soon thereafter, Dr. Dooley began a reorientation of his medical philosophy. Practicing “sickness medicine” was no longer acceptable to him and he began to study nutrition and preventive, wellness medicine. Having witnessed for himself the powerful benefits of EDTA chelation intravenous therapy, he sold his popular urgent care center and established two centers for these treatments, one in Naples, Florida, and the other in Ft. Lauderdale. Since that time he has personally had the pleasure of supervising EDTA chelation therapy (as well as other therapies) on over 4,000 individuals with remarkable outcomes in over 85% of those cases.
Dr. Dooley will conduct medical evaluations of patients entering recovery and in some cases use injections and holistic methods to detoxify substance abuse candidates following established and tested protocols, He will introduce them to nutrition and preventative wellness medicine, as well as continuing to monitoring their medical condition during treatment.
Since 2002 Dr. Dooley has become very concerned with the poisoning of the vast majority of the population by mercury. His work educating and detoxifying hundreds of patients propelled him in 2005 to found MercOut International, headquartered in New Zealand. Dr. Dooley has formulated and conducted outcome studies on an effective oral treatment for the elimination of mercury, lead and arsenic from the body, named the MercOut Detoxification Program. Dr. Dooley has been lecturing internationally on testing and treatment of heavy metal toxicity.
Dr. Dooley is certified by the International Board of Clinical Metal Toxicology. He has been actively practicing and teaching the proper detection and treatment of heavy metal toxicity since 1994 in his Florida clinics. Since 2001, Dr. Dooley has collected data and/or initiated treatment regarding mercury and other toxic metals on over 5,000 patients. He now travels and lectures worldwide on the health effects of sub-acute mercury toxicity as well as the accurate detection and treatment. Dr. Dooley is medical director and owner of Advanced Natural Medicine center in Jupiter, FL.
