Your Recovery Team - David I. Deyhimy MD, FASAM

Treatment Protocols
Dr. David Deyhimy and his medical team utilize evidence-based treatment protocols, with the goal of providing a safe, effective and comfortable withdrawal from drugs and alcohol. All patients are individually assessed for their unique medical and psychological circumstances. Treatment protocols are tailored to the individual's specific needs in an effort to provide the most effective and least traumatic detoxification experience possible.A Firm Believer in Communication
Dr. Deyhimy actively facilitates communication between his treatment team and facility staff. By utilizing a care team model, he often makes adjustments to detoxification protocols or medications based on how an individual is progressing, which leads to greater patient satisfaction.Support to Break Free of Addiction
Recognizing that drug and alcohol dependency results from a complex interplay of medical, psychological and social factors, Dr. Deyhimy is compassionate towards those trying to break the cycle of addiction. He firmly believes that anyone brave enough to enter treatment in order to break free of addiction should be supported, assisted and encouraged to the greatest extent possible. When appropriate, patients are also offered relapse prevention medications to help decrease cravings and improve the chances for sustained sobriety including Naltrexone and Vivitrol.
